Rán is made of reclaimed sail cloth, echoing the myriad stories it carries from the sea. 

The sail strives to preserve the material’s original relationship between wind and water, with the ambition of creating a monumental and airy design. 

In Norse mythology, Rán is the goddess of the sea, wielding a net used to claim sailors who perish in the depths. Those taken by Rán were believed to dwell with her beneath the waves. Consequently, the design has long, cascading fringes
