THE TIPPING PONIT

A series of print for Paper Collective.

The Tipping Point collection embodies some of my favourite shapes and sculptural elements from my designs.

The inspiration for the Tipping Point collection comes from a dogma: the idea of balance or imbalance. Two opposites that coexist. The ability to retain two opposing views at once is to me where the most interesting works occur, and this collection is an exploration of that tension. Hence the name Tipping Point. The goal is to create a tableau of shapes that balance on top of each other, to the exact point where we don’t know whether they fall apart or stay.

Much like a snapshot of the creative process, the Tipping Point Collection is about finding the balance, building a sense of movement and drive into the work, and finding the creative tipping point. The point where it all collapses or stays.
